Education

Historic buildings are wonderful educational resources. Whether studying architecture, religion, history or even maths, they can provide inspiration for all manner of cross-curricular activities for school aged children and students interested in following careers in heritage and/or construction and conservation.

Our church has already provided a fascinating insight into our community. Housed in our church is a memorial to members of the parish who gave of their lives during with World Wars. Education consultant Simon Butler created a presentation assembly on the theme of Remembrance linked to this memorial for local pupils at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School. You can watch it here.
